Ciao, I’m Livia!

I’m an Italian-American journalist, travel designer and digital strategist based in Rome — though I’m always planning my next trip. I’ve been traveling since birth and lived on three continents before moving back to Italy, my country of birth, in 2010.

Since then I’ve explored il Bel Paese from north to south and run a digital travel and lifestyle magazine called The Italy Edit. I’m also a regular contributor to Forbes and a certified travel advisor with Fora.

These years, I spend months traveling throughout Asia on a personal mission to explore the continent and share insights on my Instagram.

I’m passionate about responsible tourism, cultural heritage, slow travel and sustainable development. Nothing makes me happier than expanding my understanding of the world and appreciating what sets us apart, and what we share.

I also work in the field of international development as a communications consultant for the UN World Food Programme. I graduated from the University of Virginia with a BA in Philosophy and Foreign Affairs.
